Important Note
Patients with suspected or confrmed cancer are guaranteed appointment in our private rooms within a week.
Read on if you, or someone you care for, needs to be referred to a breast surgeon because of a suspicious breast lump.
It’s hard for women not to fear the worst, but please remember most breast lumps are benign (not cancerous).
Sadly, some women will be diagnosed with breast cancer, and will need breast cancer surgery and breast cancer treatment. The good news is that Australia has the best breast cancer cure-rates in the world, and over 90% of women make a good long-term recovery.
From diagnosis, through breast cancer treatment and breast cancer recovery, my team and I will be there with you every step of the way, giving you all the support we can to make the process more bearable.
I wish you all the best,
Dr Erick Fuentes
